1. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND SCHOOL FACILITIES

Located in 30 Phan Dinh Phung Street, one of the most stunning streets in Ha Noi, Phan Dinh Phung High School has the most beautiful geographical location, right in the heart of the capital.

Founded in 1973, Phan Dinh Phung High School has three large and spacious blocks of buildings in an area of 11,685m2, fully meeting the teachers’ and students’ teaching and learning needs. It has been recognized as a national standard school since 2014. In addition to more than 30 classrooms with modern equipment such as microphones, projectors, and air- conditioners, the school also includes function rooms, practice rooms, traditional rooms, libraries, and gymnasiums. Especially, the school owns the basketball court, the best-loved one for students in every recess, lying in the complex of ancient trees, a hundred-year-old building built by the French and other modern blocks of house, which makes the school both modern and ancient.

2. SCHOOL’S TEACHERS AND STAFF AND OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS

The school has 102 teachers and employees, among whom there is 01 doctorate and 55 masters. The school has 46 classes with nearly 2000 students. Additionally, the school is always on top 3 high schools in Ha Noi with the highest grades in the Entrance High School Examination and top 100 high schools in Viet Nam whose entrance university examination’s results are excellent.

Phan Dinh Phung High School has been home to many successful teachers, politicians, scientists, businessmen such as a 100-year-old teacher Nguyen Ba Dam, who won the literature award "For the love of Hanoi", Chairman of the Presidents Office, Le Khanh Hai, Major General Tran Viet Thang, Deputy Political Commissar of General Department II; Mr. Le Hong Ha - General Director of Vietnam Airlines, businessman Tran Dinh Long - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Group, etc.

In addition to academic achievements, Phan Dinh Phungs students are also very talented in extracurricular activities, arts and sports. The students have won numerous contests such as Trang An Beauty, Pink Age Singing, Vietnamese Voice, Viet Nam next top model, The face etc. The school always creates opportunities for students to perform their potentials through school art clubs. It is these clubs that help many Phan Dinh Phung student generations nurture their dreams and become reputable artists such as Peoples Artist Hoang Dung, Meritorious Artist and Director Tran Luc,

The International Bloc, which has 14 classes with 590 students in the school year 2022
-2023 (12 English classes and 2 Japanese classes), are now in the 13th year. English and Japanese have been taught to help students in this Bloc earn IELTS and JLPT certificates. This training format has made great contributions to the teaching and learning achievements of the school’s. 100% of the students graduating from the International Bloc are admitted to universities in the country. Moreover, many students have received scholarships including full scholarships of prestigious universities in England, France, USA, Japan, Australia, Korea, Netherlands, Finland, etc.
